Glassjaw- Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Silence

This album is perfect from start to finish. It's raw emotion, good song writing, and is somehow catchy with no real hooks. Somehow they pull off the transistion from heavy to melodic very easily.
Highlights: Motel of the White Locust, When One Eight Becomes Two Zeros

Lowlights: Babe
Verdict: Buy it

Glassjaw- Worship and Tribute

What the hell happened? The first few tracks sound rushed. None of the songs really go anywhere at all. They're very distorted and lose whatever they might've had to make them good. And lyrics don't even make up for any of it. Very disappointing.
Highlights: Ape Dos Mil
Lowlights: The Gilette Cavalcade of Sports. what the fuck? And I thought Pink Roses would be the worst track.
Verdict: Buy the first album. That's enough for you.

Goo Goo Dolls- Gutterflower

A lot of these don't sound like typical Goo, which isn't good. He's got a good voice and I don't know what he does to it in some of these songs. I guess it was their failed attempt at being "harder".
Highlights: Here Is Gone, What A Scene (both singles, whatdya know?)
Lowlights: You Never Know
Verdict: It's not a bad record but I wouldn't really recommend it.

Green Day- Shenanigans

I mean...it's Green Day. Do I really have to say anything? It's not like they ever change their style. If you're a GD fan, you'll automatically buy it because you know what it'll sound like.
Highlights: Espionage, a great instrumental track
Lowlights: Don't Wanna Fall in Love
Verdict: If you're a GD fan, I bet you already have it. And if you're not, I'm sure you won't become one now.

Gruvis Malt- With the Spirit of a Traffic Jam

This is a great mellow cd. Good to just chill out too. Sometimes the songs are a little too long, and they end up seeming too much like a jam band, but its a lot more interesting then a typical jam band.
Highlights: Even the Scars Forget the Wounds
Lowlights: Malaise
Verdict: Pick it up
