The Flaming Lips- Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots

Thank God it's nothing like the Vaseline song. It's very mellow, very artsy, and very clean. I dont' think this would ever be on my top 25 list or anything, but it makes some great background music. If you like this kind of stuff, I'm sure it's way more amazing. I can't really get into it though.
Highlights: Are You a Hypnotist?
Lowlights: Ego Tripping at the Gates of Hell
Verdict: Buy it, if you like that artsy stuff or want to try something new. Otherwise, I don't think it's for you.

Flashpoint- "On the Verge"

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised by this disc. It's not new or original, but it's not bad. From their song titles, I'd guess that they're Christian, but they don't thank God on the album. Just Ozzy and Sharon. Interesting.
Highlights: Redemption
Lowlight: Angelic
Verdict: I don't recommend it, but it isn't terrible.
